On March 23rd and 24th our Nerd Zone DevCamp took place in Karlsruhe. Host of the camp was Gameforge AG. Over 100 participants have shared several themes of software development and were able to get in touch with local IT-companies such as Exxeta AG, Unic GmbH, Brandmaker GmbH, Der Punkt GmbH and Synyx GmbH.Â
Game development companies are “crime scenes” of a mystery game. IT-specialists are invited into the premises of the company to show up the “murder”. Each company provides information (technical problems, faulty algorithms, etc.), which must be dissolved in teams and following a puzzle to be put together to solve the case.
